Scandinavian Halal certification AB protects your personal privacy and your right to control your personal information. It is therefore important that you feel safe with how we process your information. The purpose of the GDPR is, among other things, to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals – in particular your right to the protection of personal data.

Personal information refers to the name, social security number, address, e-mail address and other information / information provided by you that is relevant to the halal certification process and to the issuance of your halal certificate.

When you fill in an  application form for a halal certificate or otherwise send your personal information, you are aware that we collect, store and process your personal information in accordance with Swedish law. We do not disclose information to third party. The information is used in the halal certification process and for the issuance of your halal certificate. The information is also used for planning, invoicing, agreements and accounting.

We will process your personal data for as long as necessary. Different data will be saved for different lengths of time. We never store your personal information for longer than is necessary for each purpose. Due to legislation, for example, certain information in the accounts needs to be stored longer.

We take measures to protect your data in accordance with the Data Protection Ordinance. This means that we have routines and rules regarding data protection, for example a minimization of personal data management, password-protected computers and accounts. For data that is not digital, data is protected in archives or in such a way that accessibility for unauthorized persons is limited.

You have the right to know if and how we process your personal data. Upon written request, you can obtain a register extract of the personal data that is registered. You also have the right to request correction of incorrect or misleading information. In some cases, however, a request for deletion cannot be complied with as we are obliged by law or regulation to save the information.
