1. FORMAL APPLICATION:
The customer initiates the process by submitting an expression of interest form for a halal certificate via:
 https://www.halalcertification.se/application. Upon submission, the customer receives a detailed formal application form to complete.

2. CONFIRMATION:
Once the customer submits all required documentation and pays the processing fee, they receive a confirmation. We will then provide a cost proposal outlining the fees for the halal certificate, which must be approved before we proceed with the application review.

3. APPLICATION REVIEW:
Upon receiving written approval of the cost proposal, we begin reviewing the application. If any information is missing, the customer will be asked to provide additional details. If any ingredient or process is not approved, we will suggest corrective actions. If the application is fully compliant, we will proceed with scheduling the initial on-site audit.

4. INITIAL AUDIT (ON-SITE):
We will schedule a time in advance for the on-site audit. Two auditors will visit the production facility to review the plant and manufacturing process. If necessary, samples will be collected and sent to an external laboratory for analysis. The audit costs will be covered by the customer.

5. AGREEMENT:
Upon issuing the halal certificate, we will sign an agreement that governs the terms of our cooperation and certification.

6. ISSUANCE OF HALAL CERTIFICATE:
Following the audit, our inspectors will submit a report to the Sharia Supervisory Board for approval. If the report is approved, a halal certificate will be issued. If the application is rejected, we will provide recommendations for corrective actions. Once these are implemented, the halal certificate will be granted.

AUDITS AND INSPECTIONS:
The audit is conducted annually in accordance with the certification scheme. Additionally, we may perform an unannounced inspection once a year if necessary. The customer is responsible for the costs associated with inspections and audit.

RENEWAL:
The halal certificate is valid for one year and must be renewed annually to maintain its validity.
